This paper researches the status of legal regulations for owners of inland
waterway traffic in Kien Giang province. Using field surveys, it includes
inspection and sanction results from Marine Department inquiries focused
on the waterway owners. On this basis, this paper proposes measures to
raise civil liability for marine vehicles operating on the inland waterway of
the province.
Specifically, the reseach explores the current reality of the legal regulations
of waterway owners in Kien Giang province through actual surveys using the
marine police data. On that basis, proposal to improve civil liability issues
are offered
